Entry into University can be obtained by:
- Meeting the ATAR and prerequisite requirements and applying to University directly or through VTAC
- Pathways through certificates, diplomas, and then to degree.
- Associate degrees and bridging programs -these allow young people who may not have met the ATAR requirements to often do a 1 or 2 year course with their provider of choice and then gain entry into 2nd or 3rd year ( depending on credits available)- information on these options is on each providers site and can be discussed in details with the admissions.Locally:
-DOTs is available at Monash University among other access options.
-Deakin At Your Doorstep also is an alternative entry option offered for entry to some Deakin courses in partnership with Chisholm.
Most universities have similar options and information can be accessed on their websites.
