If you want help with stuff that is generally going on in your life or with finding out where to go for any other services both Frankston City Council and Mornington Peninsula Shire have youth workers you can chat to

Mornington Peninsula Youth Services has three locations – Hastings, Rosebud, Mornington.

Frankston Youth Services has a centre at Youth Central next to Frankston Library and six hangouts across the area.

Drug and Alcohol issues

If you are worried about the effects drugs and or alcohol are having on your life you can get help through :

YSAS (Youth Support and Advocacy Service) – 97705622

YODAA– Youth Drug and Alcohol Advice

LYFT (Linking Youth and Families Together) – assists young people and their families in addressing difficulties associated with problematic alcohol use, and can support with drug related issues that also may be impacting. We are an outreach service eligible for youths between 12 and 21 and provides services such as case co-ordination, individual and family counselling, and secondary consultation to health and welfare professionals.

The medicine map can assist in navigating health issues and referral points.

Got nowhere to live ? Having hassles at home?

Salvocare have a range of services for young people at risk of/or experiencing homelessness, such as crisis accommodation, Reconnect program and Transition to Independence Centre-call – 1800825955

Heath and Dental

headspace Frankston offers free appointments with youth friendly doctors. Ring 9769 6419 to make an appointment.

Peninsula Health Community Health offers many free/affordable services including counselling, dental, drug & alcohol, nutrition, sexual health, etc. Ring the intake worker on 1300 665 781.


The Action Centre in the city provides free or low cost sexual and reproductive health services for under 25’s. Call 9660 4700 or visit the website.
